Kiko: Intensive Lip Mask

I picked up this pack of 3 lip masks from Kiko during the summer. Here is my experience with them!

I did randomly try one soon after but as my lips weren't in bad condition to begin with, I couldn't tell if there was a huge difference between using the mask and a regular lip balm. So, a couple weeks ago my lips were as dry as a desert. I was slathering on Carmex and Paw Paw ointment every night but to no avail. Then I remembered I had this product and gave it a proper go.

So in the box you get three packets. Each has a lip mask inside.

Each lip mask is enclosed in a plastic case so that the serum doesn't go everywhere in the packer.

The mask itself is a jelly-like sheet soaked in a serum.
My number one recommendation when trying this, or a similar product, would be to do this lying down! It is very slippy, so I had to continuously tuck it in between my top and bottom lip, and try and keep my head up. So this is definitely one to do when you feel like just chilling out.

I left it on for the recommended 15 minutes before removing.

After removing, my lips felt soft and completely nourished. I wish I had taken a before shot because they were literally peeling.

I had expected the results to a couple days before my lips started to dry out again. So I planned on giving this another go and getting a before shot this time. However the thing is, they haven't gone back to the way they were. So I have to say I am very impressed with how deeply this moisturised my lips. I will be using my last mask for the next time my lips are in a bad way.

Unfortunately I have a feeling this could have been discontinued as I can't find it on their website at the moment. This is one gripe that I tend to have with Kiko. I love their products and fall in love with so many of them only to find they have been discontinued.

So, in conclusion, if you do see this I would recommend picking it up. I have also seen similar products available on amazon and such, so I would suggest that they might be worth trying. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for a dupe of this.
