This is called a Last Minute look for two reasons - because it would be ideal if you needed a Halloween makeup look at the last minute, and because I am uploading this at the very last minute! It is literally 1am on the 31st as I type. So this will be up by tomorrow (Halloween) 'daytime' for anyone needing a look for tomorrow night. Plus I think the majority of my subscribers are from the US so it should be up before the 31st over there! Anyway, this look is pretty much a generic Halloween look, using the traditional colours of black and orange. For anyone who doesn't want to 'be' anything but doesn't want to do nothing, this would be perfect. So enough's the quick, simple, generic, last minute Halloween makeup tutorial!..

This tutorial is for a simple fancy dress ‘Cat’ look. It’s great if you don’t want to go all out or over the top. It’s also easy to pull off if you still want to look ‘pretty’ and not go scary. I created an uplifted illusion to the eye by using certain shadows, lashes and liner techniques. Then I just added in the nose, lip and whiskers. You can switch out the pink lip for whatever colour you like or whatever goes with your outfit/costume best! So here’s the tutorial, products and pictures...

Hey so I have another tutorial today! Hopefully this will come in handy for those of you who want something scary but not difficult for Halloween. This is really easy and simple and very effective. So here’s the video tutorial:

So on the 6th of October I drove up to Dublin for the Professional Beauty Show that was on in the RDS. I had never been before so was unsure as to what to expect. I have been to IMATS in London a few times, so I knew what a trade show was like but not this particular one. It is a beauty show and not a makeup show so there are a lot of products and services for beauticians and salons as opposed to just makeup artists. Here is my video with some footage and pictures of the event, as well as the products I purchased:

This tutorial is to show how to create a mask using makeup products you may already have. With Halloween coming up, I hope this may be of some use! You can create any sort of style or colour scheme to match your fancy dress outfit. I used cream products as a base, powder shadows for the colour, and eyeliners for the detailing. Pull out some different products and colours and get creative!

The day I filmed this I was getting ready to leave for work and needed something quick and easy. However, I get kind of bored of doing the same sort of look in situations like this, and decided to add a subtle bit of interest. I used the black glitter liner from Collection over a super simplistic eye look, and I must say I was really happy with the result. I will definitely use more of these in future! (I have the full shade range but keep them packed away in my kit...and well, out of sight, out of mind!) So if you’re looking for something slightly different from the norm yet still really fast, maybe for work or school, give this a try!

So this is the first of my ‘Halloween’ tutorials. I love watching SFX tutorials, but I think if I was going to a Halloween or fancy dress party myself, I would probably lean towards something a little simpler. As this is my first set of Halloween tutorials as well, I thought I would start with this end of things anyway. So here is my Cleopatra inspired look!
