Hey! For my last Halloween look I am doing an Army Girl makeup look! After I did my Cupcake look I asked on Snapchat (@christineocmua) for ideas of future looks that were more "fancy dress" rather than scary/gorey as I just really haven't been feeling that vibe this year. One of the responses I got back was of an army look and I really liked that - so here it is!

On Monday I attended the Professional Beauty trade show at the RDS in Dublin. I picked up a few pieces so thought I would share them with you...

On Monday 26th Sep, I travelled up to Dublin to attend the Painted By Fame masterclass by Miss Fame (@missfamenyc). If you don't know who that is - you need to! Miss Fame/Kurtis is a drag queen and makeup artist, who starred on Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race, is well known on social media, and creates makeup tutorials on YouTube. I attended the Dublin masterclass and wanted to share my experience...

Omg can you even? I saw @xwiesx using an amazing glitter on Instagram, so clicked through to the tag of the company and found Glitter Glam cosmetics. Instantly fell in love with their colour range so clicked through to their website, where I instantly fell in love with their prices!

Friday, 9 September 2016

I recently bought a few glitters from Glitter Glam (blogpost coming on Sunday!) and wanted to try this beautiful lilac shade first. I based everything else around this and created this mauve-toned look. I tend to reach for warm shades so it's nice to switch it up and go back to the cool tones that I used to love! Lilac and mauve are a great way to wear purple if you don't want something too out there. Especially for those of you with green eyes!! Have a look at the tutorial, product list and unedited pictures below:

I'm so excited to be reviewing these brushes from the Irish brand Nima Brush, created by makeup artist Niamh Martin! I can never have too many brushes. I couldn't do what I do without my tools! And I am all for supporting fellow Irish makeup artists and Irish brands.

I really do love dramatic looks so it gives me so much pleasure to be able to do these kinds of tutorials. I was so happy with how it turned out and I hope you like it too! If you enjoy cut creases you can also check out my Double Cut Crease with Glitter tutorial.
If you have any requests for future looks just let me know.

Thanks for watching/reading!

I adore a sunset colour story and so I wanted to create a sunset look that was bright and pretty. I used matte colours in the crease, shimmers on the lid, and sparkle in the tear-duct to create the perfect Sunset Glow look. I enhanced it with a coral lip and a popping cheekbone highlight, and I love how it turned out! I hope you love it too! Enjoy...

I've been obsessed with these double cut crease looks on Instagram for a while now and figured it was about time I gave it a bash myself. I went all out and did one with glitter, because glitter makes everything better! I went for neutral tones, but would love to try a colourful one soon. In fact I just saw that NikkieTutorials did a colourful double cut crease, inspired by Zendaya I think, and it look amazeballs! Anyway, I filmed my full face as well to show my current base routine. So I hope you enjoy this start to finish makeup look!

I first came across TRNDbeauty through social media, as with everything nowadays! They seemed to have some interesting bits, and I'm all about supporting Irish websites and brands so I checked out the site. I was delighted to see they stocked some American brands that I had been lusting over but didn't want to order from the US (e.g. "Best Damn Beauty"!) So I recently picked up a couple items as my first order. I just received them and tried them out, so I thought I'd share my first impressions on them! Take a peek...

I normally don't wear super dark lip colours like this but I was really happy with the end result! I started this look without knowing what I was going to do, but once I decided I wanted to incorporate Beauty Bakerie's Lip Whip in 'She's Just Jelly', it all came together. I hope you like it as much as I do and are inspired to rock a vampy lip, even in Summer!

Sunday, 12 June 2016

I have seen a few people I follow (particularly in the US, which is unusual as it is a UK brand) use or talk about these products on social media and YouTube. I'm a big Sleek fan already so I thought I'd pick them up for myself. I bought both palettes: "Solstice" and "Precious Metals". Below I have pictures of the products, arm swatches of each colour, cheekbone swatches of each colour, and full face pics of the recommended use for each shade. Take a peek...

Friday, 10 June 2016

So I wanted to do another look using the Morphe 35o Palette. I decided to do a more smokey and blown out look than the last one. I also did a full face look for the video. Below you can find the video tutorial, as well step by step instructions with a full product and brush list. So hopefully it will be easy to follow along to, if you want to recreate this at home!

Tuesday, 7 June 2016

I bought these liquid lipsticks, or 'Lip Whips' after seeing them on Instagram. The post showed the swatches being rubbed under running water, with no budging! So I thought I'd pick up a few colours and try them for myself!

Sunday, 5 June 2016

So after seeing videos from Mariya, Nikkie Tutorials, Jeffree Star, and xSparkage I decided to give this makeup 'challenge' a go! I don't think it was started by Mariya with the intention of being a challenge, but the idea was so cool I wanted to try it for myself and take part! It's a bit of fun and I recommend trying it for the laugh! I also rediscovered some of my less used highlighters, through using them and through pulling out all my highlighters in preparation! Hope you enjoy!...

In March this year, myself and my boyfriend went to Vegas (for UFC 196), and of course I couldn't resist doing some makeup shopping to collect a few bits that I couldn't get my hands on back home. After coming back I was so busy that I didn't get a chance to sit down and try all my lovely new products, so I popped them into my 'to try' drawer and left them - until now!
There are still a few little bits from that Vegas trip left, and a bunch more in my 'to try' drawer so if you enjoy watching these kinds of full face of first impressions videos, please do let me know and I'll definitely do more! Below, I try out products from Becca, Kat Von D, Kiko, Marc Jacobs and Flormar! I've also included pictures of the products and written reviews below. Have a look...

Sunday, 29 May 2016

I wanted to play around with doing a cut crease and started mixing up this pink/multicolour glitter, but once I saw it I really wanted to use it in a spotlight eye as well. So had to do both! I really like how both turned out and can't pick a fav! Which one do you prefer?

Friday, 27 May 2016

So I bought the gorgeous 35o palette, and tried it for the first time on camera. I then went on to continue to play with it and create different looks. I really love this one because it's not too soft and it's not too smokey. The whole look is very 'me' and very wearable - it's something I would do fairly regularly. I hope you like it! Below you'll find the video tutorial for the full face, as well as pictures and a full product list. Hope you enjoy!

I wanted to do something a little more creative with this look. It's a winged out teal smokey eye, with a twist! I hope you like it! Below is a video on how I created it, with a full product list and pictures :-)

Thursday, 24 March 2016

So I saw this picture on Christina Aguilera's instagram (@xtina) and I loved the impact of the lashes, how the shadow was smokey but simple, and also that it was a cool toned look - which I haven't done in ages! The look was done by her artist Etienne Ortega, who lists some of the actual products used on his instagram (@etienneortega). Below is my own version (which is a little more toned down to wear), along with a video tutorial, a list of the products used, and the inspiration pics! The eye makeup is super simple and achievable with just one brush! Hope you like it!

Saturday, 13 February 2016

Valentine’s Day is this weekend so I wanted to create a Valentine’s/Romantic Date Night inspired makeup look. So I used pink and purple shades, and focused on the eyes – I didn’t want to do a lip that you would have to try to maintain on a date! You can definitely go softer and make it more of daytime look too. I hope you like the look I created! The full list of products and video tutorial is below...

Friday, 15 January 2016

I was attending a black tie Awards Gala recently and decided to film my makeup. I hadn't done a talk through tutorial in a while and I do enjoy doing them! I did a winged out smokey eye using the tape method. Below is the video tutorial, a full product list, as well as pictures of my makeup and my outfit. Enjoy!
