I'm a sucker for summer vibes during the winter! I went for a super warm gold eye look on a cold November day! I feel like gold is always glamorous though, and can be incorporated into most looks and vibes.

I wanted to do a dark smokey eye that still had colour, with a complimentary peach lip. This came out just how I wanted and I think it looks great. I hope you like it too! Below are more pictures, the full product list, and of course the tutorial video. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of being sent some products from L.O.V. Cosmetics recently. I wasn't asked to review them but the brand was completely new to me, so I thought it would be fun to try them out on camera for the first time!

I have been using this primer for a little while since featuring it in my Kiko Haul from Lanzarote, and I've been enjoying it. However I wanted to see whether that was just a placebo effect, or if it really made a difference. So I wore it under one side of my makeup and inspected the results...

I've had this in my little "to try" pile for ages as I normally don't enjoy cream cheek products on my oily skin. However I finally pulled it out the other day to see what it's about, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm so excited to start this series of Makeup Wishlists! I always have an ongoing list of products to buy so I thought I would share those with you all! Today I'm starting with Skincare & Primers. These products are geared more towards oily skin and acne scarring - just a heads up. So I hope you enjoy this post and I hope you're excited for this series!

I am a full coverage wh*re. If it's full coverage I'm about it. So when I first discovered the Flormar Mat Touch foundation I was in love. Full coverage and affordable? Yes please! I have been using this foundation for a while but tend to mix it for both colour and longevity adjustments. So I wanted to put this to the test for a full day without touch ups and see how it holds up on its own. Take a look...

I have another full face tutorial for you today! I decided to work with some blue tones on the eye with a pop of glitter. The brows are sculpted, the face is contoured, and the lip is a cool-tone ombre. I really liked how this turned out so I hope you do too! Below is the video tutorial, product list, brush list and unedited pictures...Enjoy!

I have partly hooded eyes, especially on my outer corner - as do many people. This can cause difficulty when winging out my eyes as it creates dips or unevenness. I do have a dedicated tutorial to doing winged liner for hooded eyes, but this shows how to create winged out eyeshadow. I also show how I completed the rest of my face for the finished look. Below is the video tutorial, product list, brush list, and pictures. Hope you enjoy!

I really wanted to try the new cream eyeshadows I bought from Kiko recently so I based my eye look on the two of those. I created this super easy spotlight/halo eye that has a grungey look to it. I also showed how I completed the rest of my face with a full coverage base, a natural brow and a glossy nude lip. Below is the talk through tutorial, lists of all the products and brushes I used, and unedited pictures of the finished look. Enjoy!...

Kiko Haul

Sunday, August 06, 2017 0 Comments

Myself and my boyfriend went Lanzarote for our holidays at the end of July and I was super happy to see a Kiko shop in the Biofera shopping centre. I don't remember it being there the last time I was there so it was a nice surprise! I had picked up some Kiko bits on my visit to Vegas last year and I was excited to try some new pieces.

Today I have a quick full face tutorial for you! I had to use the Jaclyn Hill palette again and I decided to create a shimmery brown eye look. I also dived into my Travel Makeup Bag for my face products to complete the look. Below is the tutorial, product list, brush list, and unedited pictures...Enjoy!

I am a big Jaclyn fan! I love her personality, her style and I trust her makeup opinions so I was so excited when she announced this palette. I was even more excited when I saw the colours! ๐Ÿ˜ I love working with warm tones and I also love a pop of colour so this was right up my alley. I tried out the palette for the first time on camera and created a summery eye look. Below you will find the video tutorial, unedited eye pictures and palette pictures. I hope you enjoy!

Today we're doing a pink and purple ombre floating cut crease! That makes it sound much more complex and crazy than it is! Even though it is colourful, it's just in certain places, and the lid is practically bare. I love a floating cut crease as it's actually fairly simple, but it's still effective. Adding the ombre element also made it a little more different, and you could totally switch up the colours. Enjoy!

I love using the Double Wear Maximum Cover from Estรฉe Lauder, because I love full coverage. It goes on completely full with one coat, it's creamy to blend, and it has a matte finish. I've had it for a while so I use it with certain primers and powders, but today it's being put to the real test. 9 hours of wear with no primer or touch ups. This is a series I've started to do, so even though I would never wear a foundation this long without touching up, I want to review all foundations to the same standards where possible. Take a look at the HD progress pics throughout the day, as well as my video review below...

Tuesday, 30 May 2017

Today I have a full face talk through tutorial! I created this smokey eye using purple, gold and a touch of rosy shades. I did a spotlight or halo style eye, which I love to do. On the face I actually skipped an actual highlight! Instead I had a dewy concealer mixture to "highlight" with - which is very unlike me, but it's nice to switch things up. Check out the full look below...

I saw a couple of cosmetic items whilst doing a shop at Aldi so I thought I'd try them out! I filmed a first impressions with an 8 hour wear test! Below is the video as well as HD images of before and afters. Check out how they lasted...

I thought Cher looked so gorgeous at the Billboard Awards this year that I wanted to create a look inspired by her. Big curly hair, glitter lids, and contour helped me do that! Below I have a video tutorial, pictures and a full product list for my makeup look. I also have a list of some of the products used by Gina Brooke on Cher for the original look. Check it out!

I absolutely love watching foundation reviews, but for some reason it's not something I do on my channel. So that has to change - starting now! Today I'm doing a review and wear test for the L'Oreal True Match foundation. Check out how it went on my oily, acne scarred skin, and how it lasted throughout the day!

I put on a Bardot style dress today and ended up styling it with thick statement hoops and my high ponytail, which were giving me serious 60s vibes so I took inspiration from that and created this 60s/mod/twiggy style makeup. It was super easy but super effective!

This is one of my favourite kind of eyeshadow looks to do. I have done a couple similar tutorials, but today I'm only using Inglot eyeshadows (three from the What A Spice collection) and two brushes. It's super quick and easy, and one that I would definitely recommend trying - whether this is a strong or soft look for your personal style! Hope you enjoy!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of modelling for an artist I totally admire!
I've just been humming and hawing for a few minutes about whether it's worth a blogpost or if anyone would be interested in my little fan-girl moment. Then I realised that I keep telling myself I want to write stand alone blogposts (that aren't just to go along with my YouTube videos), and I feel like this is a perfect opportunity to chat about something makeup related whilst sharing something that just made me happy!
So...let's chat..☕️..

I had this idea of drawing a realistic "tattoo" on myself using eyeliner for a little while now but was honestly intimidated by it. I never tried it and I never looked into anyone else doing it (although I'm sure many have). I went through Instagram looking for some sort of small tattoo to copy that would be easy. For some reason though, I settled on a detailed feather! I think because it's not very structured so I knew I could be fairly freehand with it. I used one image (below) as my initial inspiration to follow shapes, but then free-styled around that. I have to say I'm pretty darn happy with how it turned out! So much so that I wanted to see how it would last too. If you're interested to find out how I did it and how it lasted, read on below...

I sat down to create something bold and colourful. I started with the usual warm shades that I reach for. I then decided to throw some green into the mix, and I love the result! The double winged liner definitely kicks it up a notch too! Below is the talk through tutorial, full product and brush list, and more pictures...Enjoy!

Friday, 14 April 2017

I wanted to create a fun glittery festival makeup that was more dark and smokey rather than bright and colourful. So I think I achieved that with this look keeping it to a black and gold theme! I had fun creating this and painting glitter all down my cheeks! I hope you like it too! ๐Ÿ˜Š...

I wanted to create a slightly grunge/gothy look and I think I achieved that in this look. Below is a tutorial for the eye makeup, as well as a full product and brush list, including all products used in the full face look. I think the cool toned lip adds to the effect of the grunge look. Hope you enjoy!

Today's tutorial is a viewer request, and it is inspired by Priyanka Chopra's makeup from this year's Oscars. She had a lovely glam-wearable look of softly defined eyes with a soft pink lip and cheek. Below I have the inspiration pictures, the tutorial, full product and brush lists, and pictures of the finished look! I hope you enjoy!...

I sat down and created this look as I went along and I loved the outcome! The warmer bronzey shades give a summery feel but the dark under eye makes it more smokey and sultry. Below I have the video tutorial, a full product and brush list with links, and pictures of the look! Hope you enjoy!...
