Hey! Today is the final day of #Janbeautary!! If you haven't been following along, I have been doing a beauty every single day throughout January! I put together all of the videos in a playlist, so if you missed any you can check them out HERE (opens in a separate tab). So for today I'm sharing my top 5 current favourite eyeshadow palettes! I decided to keep it real with the pictures and not clean up each palette, because the point is that I use these all the time! So be warned - some of these aren't in the prettiest shape lol! Hope you enjoy...

I had a look through the makeup from yesterday's SAG Awards and I was struck by Diane Guerrero's look. The original look was created by Mari Ortega. I, of course, look very different to the beautiful Diane but I decided to create a look inspired by this makeup on myself. Hope you enjoy!

Today is an easy peasy eye look. You can stop with just the shadow and apply some mascara and maybe some light definition along the lashlines. Or you can take it up a notch and apply liner and lashes for that "fierce" look!

I have a bit of a different video for today! I decided to film a "chit chat" get ready with me - basically just me talking to you while I'm doing my makeup! So if you'd like to get to know me a little or if you're like me and you like watching long chatty videos with a cup of tea then take a look!

I was so thankful to receive this palette in a goodie bag when I attended the Painted By Fame workshop in Dublin last year. When I got home I set it aside in my "products to try" bundle so that I could take pretty pictures of it untouched, and do a first impressions review. However, I think because it was "out of sight, out of mind" I never got around to it. Then, the longer I left it, the more I felt like there were already a ton of reviews so why would anyone want to see mine? But then I realised - I still wanted to do it, I still wanted to have it on my channel, and I was still damn excited to try the product! So here it is, my first impressions review of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon Child Glow Kit! Enjoy...

Lashes can be super difficult to get the hang of! I certainly struggled when I first started wearing them! It's another topic that I find people ask me about or tell me their difficulties. So I wanted to create a tutorial on how to apply both strips and individuals! I hope this is helpful!...

I loved the look Jennifer Lopez wore the other night so I was inspired to recreate my own version. Below I have a video tutorial, full product list, and pictures of the finished look. I also have pictures and a product list for the original look on Jlo. Hope you enjoy!...

When I'm in a hurry or I don't want to put on too much makeup I'll do this super natural face. I do a full coverage matte base as that it the effect that I like and that I feel comfortable in, however you could totally go more sheer or dewy to suit your skin and your preferences. If you're interested to see what I use for a quick face then take a peek!...

I often get asked about what I do to style my curly hair, and I know that whenever I see someone else with curly hair I'm curious as to what they do to theirs. So I made a video going through how I style my hair when I'm leaving it down and curly. I was nervous about this video as I'm not a hair person at all, but I did really want to share what I have found to work for me. Hope you enjoy!...

Back in the day, I used to get frustrated with my eyeshape and winged liner. I knew I could sometimes fit in a really thin wing, or that I could have it looking good when I look down, but I couldn't get it how I envisioned when looking straight ahead. It was also one tutorial that I couldn't ever find on YouTube. (Bare in mind, I'm talking like 2009 - Im an old school YouTuber beauty viewer!)
So once I figured out my technique, and once I eventually made my YouTube channel in 2012, I knew it was a video I had to film. In May 2013 I did just that, and it proved to be my most successful video by far. To this day I still receive comments from viewers thanking me for helping them out, and it makes me so so happy!
Now, four years on, I have gotten better at talking to camera and use different products, so I wanted to update that video. I explain and show the same technique - hopefully a little better, and I also include a second technique for smoking it into eyeshadow - so that it also looks good when looking down.
If you have a similar eye shape or found similar difficulties, I really genuinely hope this helps you out! If it does, I would love to hear from you! Leave a comment here on my blog, on YouTube or Tweet me @christineocmua!
Below I have the video tutorial, step-by-step written steps, step-by-step pictures, and the original video. I hope you enjoy...

I wanted to create a look that was a mixture of glamorous and grungy. The lashes and the glitter bring the glamour. The red and pink tones all the way around the eye, and darkness being on the inside as well, bring the grunge. I layered various pinks and I really liked the finished look, so I hope you do too!...

This is a quick look to do when you're in a hurry - simple eyes and a bright lip. I was actually rushing to get ready for work whilst filming this and it did the trick! The key is adding the lashes, getting a nice clean brow, and a pop of pigment to make it look more glamorous 👌🏽
Hope you enjoy!...

So as per a viewer request, today I have a full face tutorial using only drugstore makeup! This wasn't a challenge for me at all as I use a lot of affordable brands. Below is the video tutorial, a full product list, and pictures of the finished look. Enjoy!

I love dramatic eyes, colour and glitter so this kind of look is what I love to do!
I had done this look with black glitter for Halloween and posted it on Instagram (see below). I liked the effect and the shape of the elongated wing coming from the lower lashline (as opposed to from under the eye like this Green Winged Dramatic Eye). So I decided to switch up the colour and do a tutorial! Hope you like it and enjoy...

I was browsing through the makeup looks that hit the red carpet for the Golden Globes and I came across this beauty. I loved the mix of warm tones, the strong spotlight lid, and the blown out effect. So here is my own version of it!

I wanted to tweak my usual smokey eye templates and create a slightly different shape, so I went to Instagram for inspo! I came across an image from @makeupby_yj of a rounded dramatic smokey eye and decided to take inspiration from that shape. I hope you like it!

So I now have a dedicated brow tutorial and I wanted to do a dedicated contour video. That turned into a contour, highlight and blush video, which then became a creams vs powders video. So...here is a tutorial dedicated to applying contour, highlight & blush in both creams & powders. Enjoy!

Today I have a quick and easy full makeup look! On the eyes I did a green double winged liner with bottom smokes and fluttery lashes. I paired that with a simple base and a pink lip. A great go-to look where you can switch up the colour to suit your outfit or your mood!
