I love Mememe & Benefit products. Their liquid highlighters are often compared because the packaging is so similar (i.e. the nail polish style bottle & brush). So I just wanted to put two of their most similar ones up against one another and show you guys the results. Have a look!...

This is the fourth and final blogpost on the fabulous #CorkMeetup that took place during the summer! If you haven't seen the other three, I will link to them at the end of this post! This post is showing you the extra products, samples and goodies we received at the very end....we couldn't believe our luck after such a wonderful, treat-filled day! Continue reading to see what else we got...

So a couple weeks ago I got suckered by Penneys again! I went in to look for one pair of shoes, saw that they were out of my size, and went to walk out...but I didn't get very far! I ended up trying on a fair few bits, and I just couldn't resist the sale racks! So, I thought I'd quickly share what I bought...

Thursday, 4 September 2014

This is my 3rd blogpost about the day of the #CorkMeetup. The first post was on our time at Lush, and the second post was on our time at Debenhams. After all that great fun, we all headed to Costigans on Washington St. for makeup demonstrations and product showcases!...

Sooorrrryyy! I apologise for being absent (again!) from posting! Sometimes life just really gets in the way! Anyway let's just keep going...I will continue posting the #CorkMeetUp posts from last month, so here is Part 2! Enjoy!

Wednesday, 16 July 2014

So last week, on Saturday 12th July, I attended my first ever blogger event! :-D
The lovely Sarah (@sarah_hamersley) and Fiona (@Trixiebellexx) organised a beauty blogger meetup - #CorkMeetup. I was super excited when I found out about it, as I had not seen much blogger/vlogger stuff at all going on here in Cork.
I recently did an interview with Chloe (of Chloe's Concept) on social anxiety, where I mentioned that as the day was nearing I was feeling a little anxious. However, I knew that come the end of the day I would be happy I went...and I was so right!
As the day was full of activities and products and goodies, I will be doing separate posts on it, and here is the first! So just read on to find out what we got up to!...

Thursday, 29 May 2014

Heya!! So here I have a tutorial for a glittery ‘party’ look. If you have a night out or special occasion coming up, this is a cool one to do! Below, I show you how to achieve it!...

Monday, 26 May 2014

So I took a little break, for a couple of months, from YouTube & Blogging. I am now back filming, editing and writing for my blog! So I am letting you know about the stuff coming up, which includes things I have started working on, things I plan to do, and ideas of things I might do. Let me know what you think in the comments!

I received a request on Beautylish to do a beginners tutorial with written instructions, so that is what I am posting today! This is a talk through tutorial where I go into detail and give tips & tricks along the way!
I started off doing a simple 'daytime' look but switched it up at the end to amp it up using lipstick and liner to give evening and night looks. I hope you like the looks and find this helpful!

Thursday, 13 March 2014

Being an Irish Beauty Blogger & Vlogger, I had to do a St. Patrick’s/Paddy’s Day makeup look! Of course I was inspired by our flag. I made it a bit softer on the top with shadows, and made it more fun on the bottom with glitter! If you don’t like the glitter you could definitely use shadows, or leave the bottom free. I hope you like it. Please watch the tutorial I have made for you in this blogpost to see how to get this look!

Tuesday, 4 March 2014

Hello there! Today's #TutorialTuesday is inspired by Sandra Bullock's makeup at the recent Oscar Awards. I loved how glamorous here smokey eye was, and then I zoomed in and noticed the hint of blue on the lower waterline, and just loved it! So I decided to create a similar look on myself and share how I did that with you guys! So to see the inspiration pictures, my video tutorial, a list of products I used, and finished pictures, just keep reading!

Friday, 28 February 2014

So I just wanted to make this a separate video as I find I repeat myself a lot talking about my blog, social media etc, and there were a couple things I wanted to have said somewhere about watching my videos in general.
So have a look to be more a part of my realm of makeup!....

I was inspired by Beyoncé's makeup at this year's Brits to create a similar look for a tutorial.  To see Beyoncé's makeup, a tutorial for how to get the look, a full list of the products used, and images of the finished look, just read on...

Back in November I did a post on My Top Ten Youtube MUAs. These were my favourite make-up artists on YouTube who I admire as artists, and go to for both their tutorials and product recommendations. I watch so many channels that I couldn’t just leave it at that list. So I am sharing my top ten makeup youtubers and artists who I go to especially for product recommendations and reviews. I also watch tutorials from these channels, but I just love hearing their opinions on products and have great trust in these 10 youtubers. Click ‘Read More’ to find out who made the cut!

Thursday, 20 February 2014

So I wanted to do a celeb based makeup tutorial and decided on Mila Kunis. I chose to do her makeup from the Russian premiere of 'Oz the Great and Powerful', which was a glamorous warm smokey eye.

When I posted my tutorial for Beyoncé’s ‘Mine’ makeup look, I explained that I jotted it down as a look to film as soon as I saw it. Well I also did the same as soon as I saw this video. From the close up on her eyes at the beginning when she is wearing the balaclava, I fell in love! I love a good feline eye and the funkiness of the monochrome flick was a great touch! I hope you like the look and enjoy the video and this post!

Friday, 7 February 2014

I haven’t been one for doing monthly favourites videos, not for not wanting to, but for poor organisation because they have to be filmed, edited and uploaded by a certain time, and also because I don’t buy a lot of makeup on a monthly basis so quite often my ‘favourites’ stay the same.
However, I have been meaning to do one the last couple months but never got to it. So FINALLY I have one for January! I did keep it to just my most used products in January, rather than show my go-to products since my last favourites video, because that would be hard to narrow down.
So I hope you see a couple things you might be interested in and enjoy!

Tuesday, 4 February 2014

This is my tutorial for a Valentine’s Day makeup look, which of course incorporates pinks! I chose soft shimmery pinks on the eye, a soft muted pink on the cheek and a bright pink on the lip. I kept the eyes fairly soft as I was using a bold colour on the lips. So you could definitely wear this with a nude lip for an even more toned down look. So I hope you like the look, enjoy the tutorial, and enjoy this blogpost!

Sunday, 2 February 2014

So this might be a slightly controversial topic and I don’t want to offend anyone at all, but I just wanted to touch on my thought on this, particularly for some consumers.
All of the following is purely my personal thoughts, opinions and experience, and I hope I have explained where my point of view is coming from well enough. I would be curious to know if other makeup artists/enthusiasts will identify with them too, even in other countries etc....

Friday, 31 January 2014

I was really debating which Grammys makeup look I should do a tutorial for – I was between Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Pink and Alicia Keys. As you can tell I went with Alicia Keys! I thought it was one that a lot more people would find wearable and yet it was still quite pretty and glamorous. If I have time in the coming weeks I may film tutorials for one or two of the other looks! Let me know what you think in the comments?

Tuesday, 28 January 2014

I downloaded Beyoncé’s latest video album off of iTunes as soon as I heard about it, and watched the videos straight away! When I watched ‘Mine’, and the first shot of Beyoncé wearing this blue/purple/green makeup came on the screen, I immediately took out my tablet and wrote it in as a tutorial to film. I’m a sucker for colourful looks and this one was no exception. The ‘peacocky’ colours are so eye-catching and right up my street. I hope you like the tutorial and maybe give it a try (even a toned-down version)!

Thursday, 16 January 2014

So my Mom visited from California over the Christmas holidays, and we decided to film a couple videos.
This first video we did is this wearable, day-appropriate makeover. I hope you like the look and find it helpful :-)

Friday, 10 January 2014

My 'Face Of The Day' today!
Pretty simple but with a little bit of colour on the lip, and very subtle colour in the waterline (which doesn't show too much on camera)
Read on for a full list of products used...

Thursday, 9 January 2014

So I filmed a tutorial for this right after the AMAs. I was losing my light during filming, but I had to wait until I had the files uploaded to my computer before I could be sure...and yup, the lighting was awful! I got around to filming it again. I had some other videos lined up so I then edited and uploaded those first. Then came the Christmas holidays...and well, I just got lazy! So now that I have finally gotten around to editing and uploading this tutorial, I hope you enjoy it!
